Import a catalog from a website

Collect products from Tilda, Shopify, WooCommerce, or a Schema.org site, review them, and add drafts to Sklads.

Start collection

Open Export / Import → Import → From website, then enter a project name and a public website URL. Collection runs in the background, so you can close the page and return later.

Sklads recognizes Tilda T754/T744 cards, public Shopify and WooCommerce storefronts, and pages containing Schema.org Product JSON-LD. Private or sign-in-only pages are not supported. If the format is unknown or platform signals conflict, the project explains the reason and does not start transfer.

Review the cards

Review the name, description, SKU, price, and images. You can select up to ten images and choose the primary one. Sources and diagnostics highlight disagreements in price, currency, SKU, or identity; those cards require a manual decision.

Short Product description goes to the shared Product card; Variant description goes to the specific Variant. When the website exposes only one full description, it is proposed in both fields, which can be edited or cleared independently. Variant description is optional and limited to 2,000 characters. Longer source evidence remains available for review: shorten it or clear the destination before approval. Line and paragraph breaks are preserved as plain text.

Corrections are stored separately from the website snapshot, so recollection does not overwrite them. If an SKU is missing, Sklads suggests a stable internal SKU for review. It does not invent GTINs or merge products by name or price alone.

One card transfers as one Product with one Variant. Evidence for several sellable Variants is retained for review, but automatic transfer of that card is currently blocked.

Refresh and reconcile results

Choose Refresh from website. After a complete collection, cards are grouped as New, Changed, Unchanged, or Not found. Not found means absent from the checked website scope, not confirmed deletion or zero stock. An incomplete collection keeps previous results and does not classify products as missing.

The Changed filter also includes linked cards whose website data has not yet been applied to the catalog. An identical repeat collection therefore does not hide a pending decision. A card shows Updates available or Review required.

For changed cards, compare the current catalog value, website evidence, and proposed value. Choose Accept website data or Keep reviewed values. You can select up to 100 cards within one filter and apply an operation with Confirm action; conflicting values require an individual decision. Process new cards and products already linked to the catalog in separate groups: mixed selections cannot be applied.

Remove from list moves a card to Removed only inside the import project. Refresh does not restore it automatically. Restore returns the card for review but does not approve its data or recreate a Product. These operations do not archive catalog records or change inventory.

Update a linked card

Select a product in the list on the left; the review area stays empty until a card is selected. Even without pending changes, current and collected descriptions remain visible with the result reason: matching values, a previously retained decision, or unsuitable website evidence. Differences consisting only of spaces and line breaks do not create an update. The “Product page: 404” label means the detail page is unavailable while the product may remain in the website listing. This error does not automatically remove the import card or delete its catalog product.

For an existing project, choose Refresh from website and wait for a complete collection. There is no need to create a new project: history, manual decisions, removed cards, and catalog links are retained.

Open the linked card in the ordinary Card review area. It shows the current catalog value, website evidence, and proposal separately for Product name, short description, Variant description, and the retail price in the source currency. Safe empty-field fills are selected in advance. A nonempty legacy value with unknown provenance requires an explicit choice to replace it, retain it, or clear a text field.

Choose Review update. The exact preview does not change the catalog. After Apply update, the server rechecks the collection, link, and current destination values. A manual edit made after preview is preserved and reported as a conflict. Repeating confirmation does not apply the write twice. Keep current acknowledges only the current website value; changed website evidence opens a new decision.

A linked-card update does not create another Product or change images, taxonomy, brand, identifiers, stock, or activation. Other currencies and price types remain intact. Collection alone never changes the catalog.

Transfer drafts

Transfer preview shows the Product and Variant counts and both approved descriptions. Confirmed records appear in the catalog as drafts, with the full description available in the ordinary Variant editor. Import does not assign quantity, create stock movements, or activate records.

Repeated import does not duplicate linked cards: new website data appears as a reviewed proposal. After transfer, record the physical quantity, complete the cards, and activate ready Products. If part of the transfer fails, correct those cards and retry; already created records are not duplicated.
